Sustainability has been an essential focus of Wilschau from the start.
We work closely with advanced fabric experts to source materials that both function impeccably, and style immaculately.
We work with recycled cotton, cashmere, alternative leather solutions, and silks that are biodegradable and water repellent. Wilschau believes in a sustainable future, and we lead by example.
Being kind to the planet is the most beautiful solution in every sense. Options including superfine wool finished with thistle flower, and fish skin leather transforms our designs into something that can’t be recreated outside of the natural world.
Cotton
We use 100% recycled cotton on our trench coats, which is uniquely finished to withstand harsh weather conditions. The result is breathable, durable, and water-repellent.
Nylon
The nylon we use is made from recycled materials and is designed to be long-lasting without compromising on comfort.
Cashmere
We are committed to supporting a fairer supply chain, and so the cashmere we use on our products is 100% organic and recycled in Europe. Reducing the environmental impact and supporting every worker’s rights is always priority.
Virgin wool
Our mix of unusual blends and special finishes mean we have created fabrics that can regulate to the temperature of your body.
Leather
Our leather products are made using fish skin leather from sustainably managed farms, a by-product of the food industry that would have otherwise gone to waste.
